It might be fire proof but that tin foil construction will only stop a kid from breaking in. Trash safe!!!

Never seen a tap welded tin can lined with plastic be praised and over advertised like that. Pathetic. Seem to have decent fire proofing tho, at least good for something.

These safes are descent for kids allowance or for paper weights. Cheap safes are like cheap pistols, when you really need them, they don't hold up.

These so called "safes" should be used for nothing more than protecting against fire and or water damage....nothing more. I had one just to keep things away from innocent hands and when the lock failed I cut it in half with a cordless circular saw in a under 1 minute. You get what you pay for and a proper safe this size that will HELP protect true valuables will cost you at least $1200 ++ Do your research and spend your hard earned $ wisely... Caveat Emptor

Don't buy a safe from department stores or hardware stores. Good safes come from safe stores.

The fire insulation in a SentrySafe is a lot more effective than sheet rock. I would like to have a burglary safe with this insulation.

This is really a moral atrocity considering this company convinces people to buy their inferior products that are supposed to protect the customer's valuable items. They will not hold up to your crackhead babysitter's boyfriend while you are at the beach for the weekend or the imbecile that rams his car into your liquor store and runs away with the Sentry box. (I'm a locksmith, my opinion is valid).

I found one of these next to our dumpster. I took a sledge hammer and a pry bar to it. It took me about 10 minutes to break into it. And I'm 66 years old and don't know squat about breaking into safes. So not indestructable. Total bullshit.

How do you protect the contents inside, like money and papers from getting mold? The silica gel packet that comes with the safe does not work. I found black mold all over my stuff.

Only the third number can be changed in this type of combination lock. Or you can turn just the dial ring so the mark is no longer at the 12 o'clock position to get a completely different combination.
