Caleb, thanks for your great review. I especially like your pointing out the poor software that Vizio continues to run with. This reminds me of when they released their new top lines w/o a remote, but instead, a tablet, again forcing you into their casting process which many people did not like. And what about those stupid legs?
I spend $10 per month for YouTube Premium. Other than Amazon, who choses to omit YouTube from their built-in app selection? I suppose it goes w/o saying there was no YouTube TV app either? Is Vizio still trying to play the "bang-for-the-buck" card on units like this? They just elevate the suggested retail price so that when we see them being blown out at Costco for less than $1500 later this year, we will think it's such a great deal for a TV that supposedly competes against the LG OLED. That's a laugh! If it weren't for the brightness levels, nobody would give them a second look.

Honestly I personally love the whole SmartCast OS that Vizio uses for the TV, it’s my favorite TV OS with Web OS being my second favorite one.

I hate when company and people talk about casting as if it's an app.Casting is not a replacement for having an app on a TV

ok quick question- i own a samsung ks9000 55", the screen has died twice so far, about once a year. i use it for my computer monitor. from what i understand this is common for the 7,8,9000 samsung tv's. i need to buy a new tv for my computer now and am looking for 49-65" that can do 60+ fps and won't die quite so fast. any ideas?

The 2018 P series was a disaster to say the least. the zones were always visible on the 65" and the 55" was half the zones and even worse. I had the 2016 P series and it was amazing for 50". I guess with the HDR and DV, gotta cut cost somewhere compared to 2016.

That was the dumbest "smart" TV I have ever bought. Had to purchase an Android Box just to do anything with it. I purchased a Samsung at the same time and it still updates and at least gets Plex 😂😂😂

When you do the test, check for gray uniformity issues. Make the room as dark as possible, put a hockey game on, and watch at somewhat of an angle. I bought 2 vizio p 2018 65" tvs that I had to return due to dirty screen effect. I ended up settling for the samsung nu8000, the quality control was much better on that TV, although I don't like the motion blur I get

I am so poor and I want one of these TV's so bad, but living a day to day life.... average people just cant afford things like this... most of the time with the way the world works anyhow. I am working and trying to save up for this TV, outside of paying to live of course, sorry for the rant, just one of those emo days. :( My old TV broke down on me recently and am using a back up while saving up every penny I can for this, if I ever will be able to afford however is another question entirely sigh.

Can't they just sell them at a cheaper price? It always is like the newer TV's will always be out of my price range. I had to buy a recertified QN55Q6FAM.

I'm pretty sure they know with these incremental upgrades that they know consumers will certainly look at last year models instead of the more profit margin new ones.
