Banggood would be a good porn name, but on second thought, no it wouldn't

I bought this and another cheap set for my first time a while back, worked great for teaching me broke one of them however I was forcing it a bit harder than I should have and snapped it.
If you're really into it buy a good set or some single ones, if you just want to get a hang of it grab one of these sets. I was able to open $100 masterlock after just a few minutes of playing around.
House lock took a little longer but got the deadbolt open without a lot of work. Makes you really know how secure your house can be or not be.

Another note you can remove the side of the lock, and change up the order just watch out it's under pressure :D

Ironically I’ve found master lock great practice locks to try on (in the week and a half with a bit of practice here and there). I needed a challenge and went for very weird name branded locks in the shop

Delighted you gave a good review. I bought this and have been using it for a short time (first set) and I’ve found it great

You can rake that lock with 0 picking experience other than watching this channel in about 0.5 seconds with the tools shown in this video (I know because I've done it, but can't seem to pick the Master No. 40 that i have)

Could you make a video on the different types of picks. I have this kit and don't know what most of them do and how to use them (at least you gave the name of the other picks:) )

Bought the same on Amazon it was great practice until I broke a few picks due to having ham hands then moved on to a more expensive set and started using real locks which I purchased or was given... Anyway lock picking is one of my favorite types of puzzle.

Of all the hobbies I am seriously considering lock picking... I was contemplating redoing Maxwell's equations in the light of Heaviside updated calculus, but I can use this as a distraction!
Just kidding I am fundamentally useless for anything that requires a long attention span... I am hungry now... what's for dinner... ;)))

Here's a July 2019 update. The set is still available, for US$13.27. Add $2.99 US standard shipping and $.27 delivery insurance (optional) and the grand total is $16.53. I didn't try LPL's discount coupon.
As of this writing there are 2,501 reviews: 164 are 4-star. All the rest are 5-star.

@john Smith best comment I've [email protected] LockPickingLawyer I've been watching your videos for a long time now. i just let them play in the background on 1 screen while i do things on my other screen while using my computer. Although i had not taken a stance to start lock picking myself. Until now that is. i just ordered the kit from banggood and with the transparent lock in hand and some guidance from your videos, now this actually seems like a skill i may be able to pick up. your videos are always interesting, and what you do is definitely an art form. i just wanted to say that now as i watch your videos it will most likely be with a lock in hand trying to learn something, instead of idling listening to you as you work. ( 1 is set, 2 is binding, little click out of him, counter-rotation on 3....)

Problem is Bangood will pick your pocket. Ordered a set from them, said it was shipped, never arrived. Had to go through PayPal to get my money back. Would never, ever, deal with these Chinese crooks.

hello Mister, do you think its possible to openlocks with air pressure? Im thinking about building something from a tool from my roomate, its a pressure-pump thats used to blast through toilets that are stuck with shit....hes a plumber. You pump the zylinder to up to 25 bar and then by button you can release the pressure. My idea was to modify the frontpice so you can put it over a keyhole and release the pressure into the lock...if theres tension on the lock this could work dont you think? Pardon my incomplete english please and greetings from Germany.

Nice set i actually got them to test before finding your channel. But they work i helped a neighbor get in a security gate. And a couple of other locks. The y hook is really good for the small cabinet locks on server cabinets. I carry this set in my laptop bag now. (It consultant) the cabinet either have their keys in or they are lost forever. It takes my untrained hand about 30 seconds to do one of them.

I was able to pick the one in the video with absolutely no prior experience in about 30 seconds. In about an hour or so picking all their practice pin locks, I was able to pick my own dead bolts in a few minutes, while loosing any sense of security from standard door locks. For some reason these have serrations like a file. I too took them off prior to using them since that will tear up the brass inside the lock. Also the rivets need to be hammered down more to secure them, but they work.

                                                                    • Lee Bayliss

                                                                      • lilgto64

The set I have includes a dimple lock and wafer lock and the tools for those. My main complaint is that they are not very comfortable due to the way they are constructed - but for the price they are a decent training tool.

                                                                        • Chemus Van Der Geek

I have that set and obviously, I can't pick the acrylic lock nearly as fast. My copy had the pick that LPL sanded and used already smooth. The small wiper wrench was not just flimsy, but not very springy so it just deformed really easily. The y wrench has been handy as it won't bend easily, but for recessed key ways, it won't reach for me. While I've used it as LPL demonstrated, I've mostly used it as bottom of the key way tension in between the wards.

                                                                          • 3DayPriest
