Anyone can do it....? As long as they open it first, go against manufacturers intended use by drilling holes, and bolting to the floor. Close and lock the safe, then bust it open... Post another video without cheating and bolting to floor...lol

We put 2 anchors to make this more difficult.... Uh dumbass the anchors helped u hold the safe. Also, a rare earth magnet would have opened it in 10 seconds and you could have reused the safe lmao.. idiots.

I'm a little late to the party, but I was doing a search on Youtube for "opening sentry safe with a magnet" when I came across this video. the other videos showed people opening safes like this in 10 seconds or less.

That's not a safe, that's a fire protection box, a child would open it, let's see you open a SAFE?

Wait a second! He said he bolted it down to make it harder?! Me thinks just the opposite! Try to pry it when not bolted down. Any that say they just carry it away, eye hook and chain it down. All safes are vulnerable, but make it harder for the thugs.

Bolting it to the floor made it easier to break it. However if safes are not bolted then then it can be more easier to carry it away using a moving dolly..

Haha you needed it bolted down or the thing would fall over making it a lot harder to break in

This type of safe (electronic keypad) can usually be opened in a couple of seconds with an earth magnet. See Mr. Locksmith videos.

Why do all of that when you can just use an electro magnet to lower the solenoid witch will then open the safe in 5 seconds 😂

I lost my key and have a very old safe I bought for $5. I have some stuff in it I need. It is a FireKing and has a combination and a key that must be used at the same time to open it. I know the combination but I still need the key. How can I open it?

We could get into that safe in about 10 seconds. no damage no evidence of attack.

You could have cut your time in half with the use of a circular saw. All you need to do is cut around the black body and it will split in two.

I know, I had one that I couldn't open anymore. Bullshit electronic keypad broke.

First off that's not a safe. Sentry doesn't make any product that's safe. I happen to love the way they call the little firebox with a handle a safe.

Second, as everyone pointed out, it's BS when you claim bolting it down made prying it harder to pry open.

Third, even though you came up with a way to bolt down a fire box you showed why it wasn't a good idea. It was coming loose as you pried on it. The problem is with the fire retardant filling injected between the plastic liner and the thin guage exterior metal. It crumbles and the plastic provides zero strength for the bolt to hold. The metal is so thin the nut and washer will pull right through it.

A real safe will never be opened with a pry bar.

Too much work, a strong magnet can pull back on the locking solenoid spring with no damage to the safe. Or you can shim the reset button on the right side and make a new code.... why destroy it?

Most thieves are lazy. I don't think they'll work that hard unless they know it is full of cash which in most cases it is not. People put papers, pictures and other memorabilia in safes so they don't burn.
