Tubular locks are so easy to pick. A safe is only as strong as it's weakest point.

i have 5 safes...all cheap...they are all empty..i hide them in a secret space in my home... if they think you're guns are in the safe they're going to work on that or try to take them there won't be looking for any other spots

@Juan Gutierrez Are you mentally ill? He said he bought 5 cheap gun safes & only uses them for show! Wow you guy's are idiot's, i hope your not a fellow Texan because damn! Do your research I've honestly found very little safes worth spending big amounts of money on like liberty safe & so on. They aren't made like they used to be, also there like 14-16 guage steel thin asf then insulated with foam. Your better off going to a scrap yard and or online buying solid steel plates & other material's etc. But if you don't have any wielding skills, equipment nvm. But just my 2 cents.

A burglars first instinct is not going to be checking under the bed. Also being under the bed gives less room for a burglar to try to pry or bang the top of the safe. I think it is a good idea and may not be for everyone but can definitely work for some.

Almost all safes are the same on the sides. The doors are the one thing that's thick. You can cut through majority of safes in 15 min with a angle grinder

I own an under bed Monster Vault. It is a US made California company, and I love it!
Buy one with confidence as it is a great product. Downside, no light for keypad and is NOT fire rated at all. Manufacturer does sell inserts that can be cut to fit your guns just like a pelican case.

DO NOT BUY FROM LENNY! He drop ships and does not follow through with anything!!

To fix that light issue u could always mount a motion light underneath ur bed. It's a nice floor light so ur not stepping on anything in the way to the bathroom. And works as a vision light for the safe

it's constructed with a double wall design.  16 gauge cold rolled steel is the minimum thickness used with an additional 12 gauge plate welded to the 16 gauge drawer front to create total thickness of .16 inch ( well over 1/8th inch). The effective thickness for the top and bottom is 11 gauge (.12"or 1/8 inch) and the effective thickness of the sides is 7 gauge (.18" well over 1/8 inch).

Project box. Will encase in the wooden bed frame. If the box manufacturer make a mechanical key only version; get that and replace the lock with good quality Kaba or good old Abloy lock. Then only keep the Utility or "go-bag" stuff there. Remington 870 bought from retired cop, his and hers Glocks (19s x 2, 21s x 2), Remington 700 in .308 with fixed mil spec scope in case its the hunt-my-own-food scenario, shitload of ammo and loaded magazines. Add a trip wire to the back slide with a relay that text me and my neighbors to alert us of an intrusion--so we can call the police of course. And with the 4 well placed micro GPS trackers I will be able to give the cops the coordinates.

A standing safe is also pretty conspicuous and instant target for thieves or kids even. There are also other under the bed safes but I haven't research their prices.

I can buy a much larger standing safe for that much. I much rather spend $700 on a standing 14 gun safe than this one. If it was $400 or $500, then you can take my money.

I received the conversion barrel from eBay last night. Only took 4 days!

Ordered 2 Glock Magazines back in January 2013 from Glockstore and didn't receive them even though my CC was charged. Called last week and the customer service guy acts like he is too busy to check on it. Finally get him to look it up and says its on back order still. I also asked about a lonewolf conversion barrel and said it was also on backorder for 4-5 months, but they are the biggest dealer for lonewolf. I go to ebay and there are many of these same barrels with some sellers having 15.
